E-COMMERCE PRODUCT SPECIALIST

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Product Data Management: Enter and update product details such as descriptions (gathered from copywriter), prices, specifications, lead times, inventory, etc. 

  • Catalog Management: Organize products into categories and collections, and ensure accurate display on the website based on back end logistics.

  • Quality Control: Review product listings for accuracy and consistency.

  • Image Handling: Upload and manage product & lifestyle images (basic editing).

  • Project Management: Make sure that we have all the creative assets for new product additions. Which includes, but isn’t limited to, project managing product and lifestyle photo and video shoots, from start to finish, to ensure all creative is gathered and uploaded successfully. 

  • Product Upload: Add all product and creative to the website efficiently and accurately 

  • Perigold Product Management: Upload product details and creative assets into Perigold dashboard, and ensure accuracy. 

  • Product inventory and stock: Work closely with our inventory and visuals team on what needs to be reordered, what is incoming, and what is aging. 

  • Organization: Organize all creative assets in dropbox and tag them for optimization

  • Product Audits: Perform routine review of all products to keep web products and content relevant.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and e-commerce platforms, or a desire to learn. 

  • Attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS is a plus but not required

  • Photoshop experience is a plus, but not required

  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

  • Ability to prioritize and handle time-sensitive updates.

  • Prior experience in e-commerce roles, such as managing product listings, or catalog management is a bonus, but not required

  • A degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not required if practical experience is strong.
