Private Residence - Playroom
/It’s time for a reveal on one of our favorite spaces. We started this project a little over a year ago and posted the initial concepts and sketches. We wanted to share how it turned out. We worked side by side with the finish carpenter in creating just the right pattern for the railing and cut-outs.
We had a lot of fun with the playhouse and developing the layout for the built-in kitchen, charming cut-out windows, and gingerbread molding.
The storage in a toy room is essential, to hide puzzles, books, and a few of the grand-babies favorite things.
With construction over, it was time to do the finishing touches with hardware, paint and pillow fabrics.
It’s finished! And as absolutely charming as we imagined!
Thanks to our amazing client and the opportunity to “play” along with her in creating this beautiful space. It brought us back to the time when we were kids, and the imagination that went into the space was limitless.
